Set in 1940′s East End London, a young boy named Marcus works as the custodian of a brothel for his mother Gertrude - the head mistress. When Gerty’s twisted attempts to make Marcus a wrought iron man leads to certain death for his new born baby sister, Marcus makes a decision to live a life of sin in order to save her.
